About Dargah: The Dargah is situated Mehrauli, ½ km away from EIDGAAH in north green area. A rough road leads to this Dargah, the road starts from the north of the EIDGAAH. It was established in 1317 AD by Sultan Qutubuddin Mubarak Shah Khilji. The compound contains the grave of Hazrat Sheikh Shahabuddin Ashiq allah (R.A.) as well as his father Abdal Baba. They were some of the earliest Sufi monks who entered Delhi and established the order. The Dargah is known to regularly organize “langar” i.e. free food for anyone who needs it. Devotees who are looking to offer their prayers and perform rituals can buy flowers, incense sticks and oil for the lamp from the little shops just outside the compound.

It was built in 1317 by Sultaan Qutubuddin Mubaarak Shah Khilji (1316-20). In the east of the Dargah, there is a hill on which the Chillgaah of Baba Farid is situated, and the nearby hill around this Dargah has been a place of meditation for many great sufi saints.

Khwaja Sahib was the son of EMADUDDIN ABDAAL and his KHALIFA. Khwaja was Sheikh NAAMDAR “DEEGAAN-E-ROZGAAR” of his time. Khwaja also got Faiz (education) from Sheikh Badriduddin Ganjavi. Khwaja reached to the limits of ISHQ-E-HAQQIQI and MIZAAJI.
